Chinese Tea in Riga

ILLUSEUM Tea Room keeps Chinese and Taiwanese teas on its shelves for drinking on site and for retail purchase. Confirmed categories include sheng and shu pu-erh, yancha, Dancong, Da Hong Pao, Tie Guan Yin, Taiwanese high-mountain oolong, GABA tea, green tea, white tea and red or black tea. TeaHouse.lv is the official online shop and shows part of this selection; additional teas may be available in the physical tea room. For selected Chinese and Taiwanese teas, ILLUSEUM provides a gongfu set at the table together with hot water. The set may use a teapot or gaiwan, depending on the tea. Visitors who have not used the equipment before receive an explanation of the brewing process. This is a self-guided table service and is distinct from a separately booked private tea ceremony conducted by a tea practitioner.
